PASSION
Elise Ecoff is the founder of MNT2LEAD, a website designed to serve as a “digital mentor” for aspiring female educational leaders everywhere. A seasoned independent and public school leader, Elise has dedicated her career to mentoring talented women and men who have gone on to successful leadership careers.
Elise completed a doctoral degree in educational leadership from Lynn University in February of 2020. Elise’s dissertation, Meant To Lead: Women Equity and Education, focuses on the underrepresentation of women in educational leadership.
EXPERIENCE
Elise recently completed seven years as the Head of School at North Broward Preparatory School, an independent day and boarding school in Coconut Creek, Florida. Prior to that she served as principal, curriculum specialist and assistant head of school.
Elise spent four years as a member of the board of directors of the Florida Council of Independent Schools where she organized the annual professional development conference and supported schools through the accreditation process.
Elise began her career as a classroom teacher in Broward County where she also served as an Elementary Generalist, a summer school curriculum writing team meber and an assistant principal.
In August of 2019, Elise joined the global education team for Nord Anglia Education, focusing on best practice in educational technology.
EDUCATION
Elise earned a B.S. in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education and certification in ESOL, an M.S. in Educational Leadership and most recently, an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership.
ACCOLADES
Elise was recognized as a Power Leader in Education by the South Florida Business Journal in 2018 and again in 2019.
PERSONAL
Elise wears many hats, but her favorite roles are wife to Gary and mom to their two children Sara, and Andrew.
